Open Water Diver - Open Water

After your confined water dives, you'll head to open water, where you and your instructor will make four dives over the course of two days (2 dives/day). On these dives you'll get to explore the underwater world. You'll apply the skills you learned in confined water while enjoying what the local environment has to offer. Most student divers complete these dives close to home, but there is an option for finishing your training while on vacation. Your PADI Instructor can explain how you can be referred to another PADI Instructor in a different location. In order to obtain your Padi Open Water Scuba Diver Certification, the four open water dives must be completed no later than one year after finishing the confined water dives (pool session).

Mick's Scuba completes most open water diver classes at Long Lake Park & Campground located in Clearwater County, Minnesota.  https://longlakepark.com There are also opportunities to complete open water diver classes at Crosby Mines in Ironton, Minnesota and at Lake Ore Be Gone in Gilbert, Minnesota.
